Assalamu'alaikum. Apart from peplum, Malaysia has been hit by a hijab style by the name of 'Half Moon'. I bought one myself, mainly because my best friend Zura decided to venture into hijab business. Even went to pick her stocks herself in Vietnam. And I'm her frontier cheerleader, but of course...! Here's my one and only Half Moon Hijab in baby blue: But I prefer to place the embroideries at the side instead of on the head. And because of the sheerness of the chiffon, I used quite a lengthy inner. Pink, yeah.. I just love the combination of inner pink and outer blue. I'm sure most of you guys have loads of Half Moon Hijabs ~ what else is new, right? But I think I'm still so much into maxi shawls even more. السلام عليكم I've been wearing glasses since I was 13 years young. Donkey years ago, eh? Never forget a conversation I overheard in a visiting school dormitory where I went to compete in a debate team. I was 16 then. Stranger A : I heard he's now with Nai. Stranger B : This Nai, is she any pretty? Stranger A : She wears spectacles! Stranger B : Oh, No! I was like, okay.....! Yeah, I've always been brought up with focusing on being smart. I was never accustomed to hearing people call me pretty. (Not until I went to Uni). But I was totally appalled to hearing the two strangers associated good looks with glasses? I mean, I didn't see any relevance there. And then it struck me, Oh My God! Glasses for others can make girls look ugly? Seriously? السلام عليكم I did most of the cooking today and lunch was served right after the gents came back from Juma'ah Prayer. It's my other half's birthday and I made a point to do my level best in the kitchen. Apparently everyone else enjoyed the meal as well. Alhamdulillah. Still owe him proper celebration, actually. May be some time next week, Insya Allah. Anyways, I bought him quick dinner at the nearest Victoria Station together with Junior. السلام عليكم Hi there, dear friends.. Today I received my long sought oversized shawls. Got them from Nadia Hijabs  ~ Check out her Facebook ( here ). Very sweet and friendly young lady. I assume she's much much younger coz I've always regarded myself as 'Old Enough'. Hehehe. Anyways, I wore one of them, peach tribal print for a meeting at the Great Eastern Mall, Jelatek. Mixed cotton really has been my lifetime favorite. The shawl reminds me so much of the similar material and print long time ago. Only that they used to be square, for that matter. Then in the evening I went with Junior to find something that he wished so much to get at the nearest mall available. السلام عليكم It's Wednesday and I'm back to work. Supposed to do so yesterday but had to take charge in the kitchen replacing my beloved brother. Or else, before you knew it, mom would be forcing herself to cook. She's still not fit to do anything but rest. Like, if you cannot be present physically, at least be present emotionally. Vice Versa. If you can offer both, the better.
