Rest In Peace, MH 370

Assalamu'alaikum. It was confirmed that MH 370 has ended in the southern Indian Ocean. If we the bystanders can't help our tears, imagine how the next of kins must be feeling now and the rest of their lives. Yes, the phrase chosen by PM Dato' Sri Najib Tun Razak was 'ended' instead of 'crashed' but still, it meant just that. Crashed. Drowning our hopes and positivism. What a thing to chew!

The fact that why on earth it has flown there in the first place still remains unanswered. Loads of speculations shall reign supreme, rest assured. However, let us have some respect for the mourning families of the passengers, captain, co-pilot and cabin crew. Be civilized at the very least, if you cannot be sensitive enough not to bad mouth here and there.

The Ocean is a remote area due to its depth and turbulent waves, which is analogically versed as 9 to 10 times the height of KLCC. So, the chance of survivors is slim to zero. Unless of course, Allah Wills it otherwise. The most suitable thing to say now is:

"From Allah We Came, To Him We Shall Return"

It's hard to even comprehend. It's heart-breaking. It's a reminder of who's in control of this world. None other than Allah swt. Let's stay united and pray, pray, and pray.

- Nai at Tak Pe Je.
