The Juggler

Assalamu'alaikum. This week is a test of time management for me, really. Since it's school holiday and we have yet to be directy involved with the upcoming wedding reception of our brother, I had just gotta bring junior to his favorite hang-out in between appointments.

Dino World? Yeah.. What a good idea to attract children, but of course...! ^_^

The favorite game of Junior's it was, he had to Q that day for his turn unlike other times we went there. And this time he chose to spend his entire tokens on that particular game.. Haiyya...!

And his cousin-best friend-since toddler chose more girly games, obviously. I hope she would remember how I gave her just as much tokens as I did Junior. That was the least I could do to make her feel taken care of and loved, the way that I knew how.

Well, that's it for now. I'm heading to the East Coast again after breakfast and it's gonna be a long hectic weekend. Thanks for dropping by. You take a very good care of yourselves, ya? Until next time, Cheerio..! Much love, Nai. Assalamu'alaikum.

The Preliminary of A (Kampung) Wedding

Assalamu'alaikum. Been very busy lately with my brother-in-law's wedding coz just like I am, my other half is the eldest in the family. And being his wife, I'm equally busy arranging things, which is normal, right? Here's the brother's smiling face at the mosque after the aqad ceremony:

Alhamdulillah he went through the aqad merely with one lafaz.  I have yet to get various pictures of the later event following the aqad nikah, so let's just see a few of these:

A few of the Very Important Persons from the groom's camp:

And the sister-in-law snapping her own picture in the car earlier on:- ^_^

The ceremony at the groom's place is just around the corner, so help me God! Anyways, thanks for dropping by, love thou all for that. Until next entry, Cheerio..! Much love, Nai at Tak Pe Je. Assalamu'alaikum.

One Green Fasting Day

Assalamu'alaikum. How are you guys today? I'm okay, Alhamdulillah and today is the last day of replacing my indebted fast. Ramadhan is just around the corner so yeah, most women have been doing the same thing. For the past two years I have not been very well after Ramadhan unlike the previous years beforehand. So, I couldn't finish the replacement within the month of Syawal. But this year is somewhat worse, if I may add. With the fibroid operation and later miscarriage, I feel so blessed that today has finally arrived. Thank you Allah..

Anyways, my OOTD theme is green as you can see. The pashmina was a gift from Egypt, the criss cross tunic from Miss Allysya and the palazzo from the Poplook. Oh, ya.. The socks? From Primark. Heheh. Childish as they may look, I love the socks to bits.

Here's a picture taken from Miss Allysya's website - for a better view of the tunic, that is.

So, that's it. Thanks for dropping by, love you all for that. Cheerio..! Much love, Nai at Tak Pe Je. Assalamu'alaikum.

Just Another Baggy Outfit, Baby..

Assalamu'alaikum. This entry was supposed to come out last two weeks but didn't quite make it, so to speak. Since I have not been taking much pictures lately, so these ones would serve the purpose. At the very least, yep.

Do you notice the orange pouch on my lap? Well, that's my BFF by the name of power bank inside it, which has been such a great company and savior in every possible way - especially when the gadgets run out of batteries.

This one was taken at Jelatek with my long lost friend, who has always been stylish for as long as I remember. Just another baggy outfit from me.. The peplum and the palazzo were both from the Poplook.

That's it, dearest. Nothing much, really. Thanks anyway for dropping by. Much love, Nai at Tak Pe Je.
Assalamu'alaikum.

Friendship Forever

Assalamu'alaikum. Here's a wonderful quote I snapped at a tube station not so long ago:

Very true in every possible sense, I fell in love with the statement at first sight. Lots of people can relate to it, in fact. Like, how many of us have fallen in love with someone we never met in person? Words can get to you like nothing ever can, if put in a right way. That's why I guess my friends and relatives ended up marrying the persons they had been chatting online with day in day out. Within my circle of best buddies back in uni, I was the only one who didn't have a wedding toll the same way (the chatting way).

For beauty will subside, good looks will evaporate in time. Physical attractions will be lessened just the same, as time goes by. So, what's left will be ultimate companionship.. Where and when you can talk and laugh and be there for each other. In the end, it's all about (cornflakes? Naaah...). In the end, it's all about being friends with the one that matters most to you, for the rest of your life. So, do become friends with your spouse for friendship never dies.

With that, I sign off. Take a very good care of yourselves coz I love you so. Thanks for dropping by. Much love, Nai. Assalamu'alaikum.

Teaser (Teaser La Sangat)

Assalamu'alaikum. Here's a teaser of my OOTD. (Yeah right). Dearest, I'm fasting today so I've got quite an ample time to actually do things I normally could only do after office hour. Like blogging, for an instance. Plus, things are a little bit slow today unlike the previous 3 days.

But then, I've gotta attend a meeting tonight after iftar. The more I wanna utilize my free time to the fullest, which is understandable, right? Anyways, there goes nothing. Thanks for dropping by. Assalamu'alaikum.

Excuse the position, ya. It's called sit back and relax. ^_^

- Maxi Cardigan : Unbranded
- Maxi Dress : The Poplook

There goes nothing, thanks anyway for dropping by. Do take care coz I love u. With that, farewell. Assalamu'alaikum.

Alhamdulillah...

Assalamu'alaikum. It's been one heck of painful 6 years for my client and her lawyer. It's officially settled today by the highest appelate syariah court in Kuala Lumpur. A sweet victory, Alhamdulillah...
I didn't believe what I heard at first, but yeah, it was all worthwhile. My first appeal case : the hardest, the most precious bitter-sweet experience.

And I did it my way : underdog way. Other than that, it was Allah's will.
Alhamdulillah...

Extremely Hot Saturday

Assalamu'alaikum. What a hot day it's been, phewww! Too hot that I caught an instant flu. Here's a picture of me in the car at Nilai today. You can imagine the sunshine looking at it, seriously!

I guess it's gonna rain sometime tonight. May be after midnight. We'll see..

Butterfly Glasses At Night

Assalamu'alaikum. So, here I am still awake fresh and vibrant(?). Serves me right, though. Nobody asked me to drink a cup of capuccino in the morning and a glass of latte in the evening. Hurmm...
Here's a picture of me an hour before midnight earlier on, accompanying someone at dinner. Me? Well, I had potato wedges and sugarless earl grey tea. For the sake of accompanying, ya?

How about getting back to butterfly glasses, dearest? Hehehe. Vintage kinda look. Reminds me of the Cat Woman, somehow. Anyways, gotta catch some sleep. Thanks for dropping by. Much love, Nai at Tak Pe Je. Assalamu'alaikum.

From Temerloh to Italy

Assalamu'alaikum. Excuse the title, quite an exaggeration. ^_^ The following pictures were taken in Temerloh, a day before the General Election took place. It was a pit stop before driving off to my in-laws in Kuantan. What was I doing there?

Hunting for Ikan Patin and Talapia. Yeay..! Even though I'm no longer a die-hard fan of patin, I still love deep-fried talapia. Yummeh...! Look at the stall.. Very basic with capital B. Don't get fooled by its humble looks, dearest! The income is considerably competitive by all means.

Fresh from Sungai Pahang..

And well, no matter how far I go, Temerloh will be in my heart forever. Even if one day I end up in Italy, for an instance. From Temerloh I come, to Temerloh I return. Peace, y'all...!

There goes nothing, thanks anyway for dropping by. Love you all for that. Much love, Nai at Tak Pe Je.
Assalamu'alaikum.

Take It Or Leave It

Assalamu'alaikum.
So Malaysians have spoken. But not the way some have expected it to be.
Yet again, nobody can force everybody to think, feel and live the way he/she exactly wants.
There are people who love you much.
There are people who love you less.
Not everybody love you much.
Not everybody love you less.

There's no right or wrong in loving you much, as in loving you less.
If you can't take it,
then you are not man enough.

Why don't you swallow your defeats as much as you rejoice your victories?
After all, that's what democracy is all about.
You can't have both.

OOTD ~ Smart Casual Nai

Assalamu'alaikum. It's almost the end of the week, how days passed in a blink.
How your week has been so far? Anyhow, I finally got a time to ask someone to snap
my picture after office hour today.

Oh, ya.. This is the first time I'm uploading pictures using my new Samsung ultrabook.
Almost forgot the simplicity of using this kinda gadget, actually.

Well, I decided to appear smart casual today. The ensemble was:
Instant Hijab - Tailored
Sharon Blouse - The Poplook
White T - Ti:Zed Ladies
A-cut Long Skirt - Tailored

What an exhaustive day it was, really. Thank God everything went just the way I had hoped it to be. Only better. Alhamdulillah. Gotta go, dearest. You take a very
good care of yourselves, ya. Catch you later..! Assalamu'alaikum.

Much Love, Nai at Tak Pe Je.

Tasha Manshahar & Syed Syamim ~ Love You Both!

Assalamu'alaikum. Hi there, dearest... Hope you guys are doing great out there.
Lately I've been listening back to back to various you.tube videos of two very talented young artists from Malaysia. Yeah, I'm officially a fan of both Tasha Manshahar & Syed Syamim. They are both so sweet in their own ways and make such a cute couple or duo, howsoever they wish to name it. ^_^

One of the most lingering to me is a cover of the late Broery Marantika's Biarlah Bulan Bicara by Syed Syamim. I was like repeating it forever, yeah kinda, the first time I stumbled upon it. Here's the video:

And there's a single by Tasha called 'Cuba Teka' (Take A Guess, literally defined). I just can't get enough of it, really.

Some might say that she's Yuna's copycat, but I beg to differ. Thing is, Yuna has inspired loads and loads of Malaysians (hijabis, especially) in such a way that spells out resemblance, if not cliche. That is settled. But calling Tasha a copycat is  arguable. She's got her own way and style, which separate her from that of Yuna. At least that's from my humble opinion. It's a free network and let's agree to disagree.. ^_^

Perhaps you guys out there can't get it why Malaysian girls, despite wearing hijabs DO sing and become singers. But that's how we are, you know. I don't sing (in public) and not a singer myself, but I follow music very closely... have been doing it forever.

Anyways, do come over. Visit us in Malaysia. See the colors of our people. Then you're gonna get it. Meanwhile, I've gotta catch some sleep. You take care and see you later. Assalamu'alaikum.

Much Love, Nai at Tak Pe Je.
