Taman Mini Indonesia: Indah & Mempesona.

Assalamu'alaikum. So many bitter-sweet things had happened while we were in Jakarta and Bandung vacationing. So much so that we had to cancel loads of scheduled programs, for most of us had fallen sick one after another. Anyways, let's talk about the sweet things, shall we? I'd however skip the 1st day's activities at this juncture and jump into the 2nd day's when we visited Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Jakarta a.k.a TMII.

I'd just leave the link above for the related infos you might wanna find out. We decided to merely make one big tour on the chartered van and stopped at Rumah Minang to snap some pictures. Mom was so happy to reminisce the memories she had with dad some 5 years ago in Padang, West Sumatera.

The miniatures of traditional Minangkabau houses (and the rest of the available buildings there) were nothing near mini, mind you. That's what so special about TMII among other things.

We were all smiles as you can see..

Marvelled. Taken. Captured. The eyes of the travellers.

Who wouldn't wanna stay in this house, right?

Awaiting the photos taken by the cameraman to be delivered.

We ended up taking almost all of them for the sake of memories.

Minang would just be Kabau without the religion (Islam), our Minang friend Bujang used to say.

There goes nothing, really. Thanks anyway for dropping by. Sampai jumpa! Assalamu'alaikum.
