Green Heated Monday

Assalamu'alaikum. It was a day with loads of pressures and I almost lost it, really. I even screamed on the phone in front of my best buddy, Adah when we met for our hot latte during lunchtime. I felt so mad that I didn't feel like eating any single thing. So mad that I had to wander about to cool my boiling heart down and only headed back to the office when I was sure I wouldn't strangle anybody, especially the one who had caused the turmoil in the first place. I made a point to go to the musolla and prayed Zuhur, avoiding any eye contact with that particular person. And thank God I was doing much better afterwards, so much so that by the time I called her into my room I could talk civil already. I would have had to do some lousy damage control otherwise.

Anyways, things fell into places rightfully so afterwards, much to everyone's relief. At least we shared one thing in common : to get the job(s) done. And I got to call it a day at 6pm approximately with smiles on my face, which was a goooood thing after all. That was also a good reason to do selfies in the car, but of course! Well, actually I had to reply a few whatsapp messages once I arrived home, so I was kinda stuck in the car for 15 minutes or so.

The green shawl I got online from Al-Humaira Contemporary some time ago was quite a thing, really. I even wore it after Maghrib yet again, accompanying my husband to a nearby steamboat restaurant. So, apparently it was a green Monday indeed, a soothing color to somehow ease your mood.

That's it for now, dearest. Thanks for keep coming back, much appreciated. Till then, Assalamu'alaikum.
