An Organizing Freak Nai

Assalamu'alaikum. So I have a confession to make : I am an organizing freak. Yes I am. It has become more and more obvious, much and much worse as years go by and I have actually come to terms with it by now. Then again, it's not in any way a bad thing in the first place. Yeah some might think it's some sort of an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) or in my case as my best friend versed it, Obsessive Compartmentalize Disorder but I beg to differ. It's more to building up a system that gives me (and those around me) a tranquility, peace of mind on a daily basis. It's a mad, mad world we're living in now so if only we could minimize any imaginable and foreseeable unnecessary discomfort, we'd be able to enjoy morning smiles more easily. That's how I view and justify the whole idea, actually.

And I didn't spend more than necessary to get all this system done. All the equipments were bought here and there, which were later on assembled and mix-matched as per my likings (with relevance and importance) taken into considerations. The hangers, rack and hanging units were from Kenanga Wholesale while the boxes were from Ikea, Daiso and Cosway and there you go, a budget walk-in closet in the house!

There are still room for imrovement, of course but I'm so happy with what it has transformed into. Most importantly, it makes a whole lot of sense to me for with everything within reach and apparent sight, my life has become much easier.

Like this existing wardrobe, for example. I took the sliding doors off and turned it into a storage for handbags, knapsacks and document bags, which makes it such a darling choosing my bag of the day without having to pack, unpack or wrap and unwrap anything in between. The white adjustable racks that I had bought 2 years ago in Ikea are now very much usable in a more stylish way. Point is, you just have to make full use of what you already have in store.

And you don't even have to over spend either. Take a look at the following items, which I bought in Daiso for merely RM5 each. Again it's about mix-matching just like you assemble your daily outfit. Be creative and comfortable. Never outdo anything. Then you'll be just fine.

That's what has been keeping me very busy lately, now you know why I haven't been updating this blog as often. Anyhow, I hope you can relate and pick some idea out of this post. Thanks for dropping by, love you guys so much. Do take care and see you when I see you, if I ever see you. Bye for now. Assalamu'alaikum.
